Varicella-zoster antibodies, chickenpox, VZ.

Common Use:
To assist in diagnosing chickenpox or shingles related to a varicella-zoster infection and to assess for immunity.

Serum collected in a gold-, red-, or red/gray-top tube. Place separated serum into a standard transport tube within 2 hr of collection.
