Mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH), mean corpuscular volume (MCV), mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (MCHC), red blood cell distribution width (RDW).

Common Use:
To evaluate cell size, shape, weight, and hemoglobin (Hgb) concentration. Used to diagnose and monitor therapy for diagnoses such as iron-deficiency anemia.

Whole blood collected in a lavender-top (EDTA) tube.

Normal Findings:
(Method: Automated, computerized, multichannel analyzers)
