Common Use:
To diagnose some of the more common chlamydia infections such as community-acquired pneumonia transmitted by Chlamydophila pneumoniae and chlamydia disease that is sexually transmitted by Chlamydia trachomatis.

Serum collected in a red-top tube. Place separated serum into a standard transport tube within 2 hr of collection.
