CO2 combining power, CO2, Tco2.

Common Use:
To assess the effect of total carbon dioxide levels on respiratory and metabolic acid-base balance.

Serum collected in a gold-, red-, or red/gray-top tube, plasma collected in a green-top (lithium or sodium heparin) tube; or whole blood collected in a green-top (lithium or sodium heparin) tube or heparinized syringe.
